The new BMW M135 xDrive does not compete, it sets standards in the premium compact class. The fourth generation of the successful compact sports car reflects the successful BMW M motorsport heritage more than ever. And this is consistently underlined by the wide range of M Performance Parts for the interior and exterior made from ultra-modern lightweight materials such as carbon and aramid. In addition to the features and options that come as standard with the new BMW 1 Series, a wide range of BMW M Performance Parts will be available, allowing individual accents to be set for uncompromising sportiness.

THE HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Design with M Motorsport DNA
  • New lightweight components
  • Unique carbon and aramid look
  • Four tailpipes with M Performance carbon tailpipe trim
  • Numerous components with M Performance logo

MORE RACING DNA THAN EVER.

Even at first glance, the M Performance parts for the exterior are sure eye catchers. The M Performance front splitter in carbon as well as M Performance flicks, both in high-gloss black, ensure an extremely striking appearance. The dynamic, high-quality impression carries on in the side profile with the compelling M Performance decals with M Performance designation stickers sitting above the sills with M Performance side sill inserts in high-gloss black. The M Performance exterior mirror caps Carbon round out the visual dynamism.  The motorsport DNA of the new      BMW M135 xDrive becomes even more obvious when looking at the optional M Performance Parts for the rear. The optimised M Performance roof edge spoiler in high-gloss black ensures increased downforce thanks to its even more prominent shape, while the M Performance rear diffuser Aramid impressively frames the four tailpipes with M Performance tailpipe trim Carbon.

BRAKING GOOD.

For an improved brake performance - even under high thermal loads: The M Performance brake system with sports brake pads in M Performance red with M logo ensures optimised braking power even under strenuous conditions. The resilience of the brake system increases performance in demanding and dynamic situations and emphasises the sportiness of the vehicle. The attractive appearance of the red-painted brake calipers perfectly matches the M design language of the BMW M135 xDrive. In combination with an open wheel design, the sports brake is particularly impressive.

M PERFORMANCE IS IN THE DETAIL.

Besides the scene-stealers among the Performance Parts, there are also those that take a second glance to be discovered. Elegant details that are both visual and functional highlights, but do not immediately catch the eye. For example, the M Performance aerial cover Aramid. The material is very similar to carbon on the outside and therefore blends seamlessly into the carbon look of the other M Performance exterior components. In this particular case, the developers at BMW opted for aramid because, unlike carbon, the material is highly permeable to electromagnetic waves and thus guarantees the interference-free function of the antenna. Then there is the M Performance towing strap, a small eye-catcher in bright red, which adds a touch of racetrack flair where these straps are used. Another detail is an M Performance part that is not even revealed at second glance, you really have to look for it. Or wait until the fuel gauge points to reserve.
