The M Performance Parts were developed with the expertise of BMW M GmbH from five decades of motor racing. From exterior components made of carbon fibre to lightweight forged wheels and Alcantara interior trim - all parts are manufactured with the utmost precision and meet the highest standards of quality and design. Good to know: They are homologated with the entire vehicle - there is no need for a separate test for road approval.
MOTORSPORT DESIGN FOR THE ROAD.
The BMW M440i xDrive Coupé and Convertible could hardly be more striking: the M Performance carbon diffuser attachment and the M Performance carbon rear spoiler are made of 100 per cent high-quality carbon fibre and add unmistakable motorsport accents to the rear of the vehicle. The rear spoiler is manufactured entirely by hand and optimises the aerodynamics. Fine details include the M Performance 440i/d model badge in black and the M Performance aramid aerial cover. The BMW M440i xDrive Coupé shown in Speed Yellow also features the M Performance carbon side skirt attachment, M Performance side decals Frozen Black, high-gloss black M logos on the side and the weight-optimised 19-inch M Performance Y-spoke 898 M light-alloy wheel in Frozen Gunmetal Grey. The further enlarged and internally ventilated M Performance brake discs further increase the braking power of the Coupé and Convertible.
ADVANCED AERODYNAMICS FOR THE TRACK.
With M Performance Parts for the M4, various elements of the vehicle can be upgraded in a more expressive way. These include the M Performance flicks carbon fibre and the M Performance air breather carbon fibre, which together improve the aerodynamics and reduce lift on the front axle. In addition to the M Performance carbon fibre front attachment, the M Performance tow strap also contributes to emphasising the sporty character. The M4 shown here is also equipped with the M Performance carbon side skirt attachment, the M Performance carbon rear winglet and the 20"/21" M Performance forged wheel cross-spoke 1000 M Jet Black matt. All components were designed during the development of the entire vehicle and fit seamlessly into the motorsport look. The aerodynamic components are optimally tuned to the vehicle in the wind tunnel and enable even sportier driving behaviour - whether on the road or on the racetrack.
