The limited edition models BMW X5 M Competition x Meindl and BMW X6 M Competition x Meindl impress with unique equipment features that have been created in collaboration with Manufaktur Meindl and have never been seen before. The luxurious interior features, among other things, Meindl deerskin in old black, which is reminiscent of one of the most traditional items of clothing of all: leather trousers. The family's tannery works according to traditional craftsmanship with a lot of manual work. It takes several months before the leather can be processed, resulting in a unique quality.
Meindl and BMW M are not only connected by their home in Bavaria, but also by principles such as exclusivity and individualization at the highest technical level.
EXCLUSIVE AND INDIVIDUAL.
For the strictly limited edition BMW X5 M Competition x Meindl and BMW X6 M Competition x Meindl, chamois-tanned deerskin in old black is used, which is processed naturally exclusively in Europe. Meindl deerskin was used on the seat and backrest surfaces, for example, as well as in the center console, the accent strips and on the sun visors. The attention to detail is also evident in the floor mats trimmed with deerskin and in the luggage compartment. There, a design mat with Meindl logo embroidery rounds off the unique overall look.

TRADITION AND MODERNITY.
Markus Meindl has been implementing his ideas since he was 8 years old, always following the motto "For me, fashion means not dressing up, but remaining authentic." His claim is to interpret fashion individually and thus convey zeitgeist, personal attitude to life and joie de vivre.
The family's tannery works according to age-old craft traditions. For example, only natural agents are used in the seed tanning process. Until the leather is ready for processing, a lot of manual work and several months of time are needed. The shortest possible distances and sustainable production processes guarantee a genuine suede product with tradition and unique properties.
How this craftsmanship has already been implemented in the BMW X5 M Competition x Meindl and BMW X6 M Competition x Meindl is impressively demonstrated by the many details and the high-quality workmanship of the refined parts.
