It is particularly important for young or novice drivers to keep vigilant in stressful traffic situations. To help them drive with the necessary composure, we have developed a BMW SafetyYoung training programme aimed specifically at young drivers. This programme is for participants between the ages of 18 and 25 (for 17-year-olds as part of accompanied driving). 

For technical reasons, the date of birth of the young participant and the chaperone must be adjusted to 18-25 years when booking. As the accompanying “non-Young participant”, please enter the date of birth of the “Young participant” you are accompanying in the “Date of Birth” field when booking the training course online. Mastering basics such as steering control, skillful evasive maneuvers, and developing a sense of vehicle behavior in braking situations, prepares novice drivers for the road. For them, it's crucial to not only enjoy driving but to also gain a good and secure feeling for the vehicle. Especially for students, apprentices, or young adults, the BMW Safety Compact Young Training offers an affordable path to greater confidence behind the wheel.

We offer wheelchair users the opportunity to experience the pleasure of driving in specially converted BMW and MINI models. Our fleet of vehicles has been adapted specifically for this safety training and equipped with special hand-held operating devices. The aim is to familiarise our participants with these devices and thus improve their confidence on the road.

Starting with a brief theoretical introduction, we focus on the correct sitting position and steering wheel posture to give you a safe yet athletic driving experience. Through specific exercises on braking situations, evasive manoeuvres and lane changes, you will be trained to correctly assess risks and react calmly in unexpected situations.

On the various road surfaces of the extensive training area at the BMW M Driving Academy, you will not only achieve maximum safety and confidence at the wheel, but also experience increased driving pleasure. From slalom courses and circuits to highly dynamic driving exercises with controlled oversteer, we offer you a comprehensive programme that not only strengthens your driving skills, but also provides an intensive motorsport experience.
