The M Sport package Pro offered for the first time for the new BMW X7 highlights the sporty streak in its character even more emphatically. It comprises extended M Shadow Line trim (that also adds a matt Black surround for the kidney grille and tailpipe finishers in Black Chrome), plus M Sport brakes with black brake callipers (blue as an option) bearing the M logo. In the interior, the seat belts bear the M colours.

M specific suspension.
The M specific 2-axle air suspension permits especially comfortable motoring with high driving dynamics. Integral Active Steering with rear wheels that share the steering further increases agility and manoeuvrability. The Executive Drive Pro Suspension control system comes now as a standard: It ensures exceptional driving comfort at the same time as outstanding driving dynamics. The system is based on active roll stabilisers that continuously regulate electromechanically while driving, thus reducing body inclinations to a minimum.
8-speed Steptronic sport transmission.
The 8-speed Steptronic sport transmission allows both comfortable sliding gear changes and a dynamic driving style with very sporty gear changes – automatically and also manually via shift paddles. In Sport mode and when operating the electronic selector lever (switch: S/M), the gear shifts are configured for maximum performance.
BMW xDrive.
The intelligent BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system smoothly distributes variable driving power to the front and rear wheels. As a result, you benefit from more traction and driving dynamics in all driving situations. For improved driving safety, the system also specifically counteracts understeering and oversteering in bends.
M Sport differential.
The M sport differential optimizes traction and driving stability when changing lanes or accelerating out of a bend, when taking bends at high speeds or on different road surfaces. Traction is optimized with the help of an electronically operated device that reduces the difference in revolution speed between the rear wheels.
M Sport brakes.
The M Sport brake has four-piston fixed callipers at the front and single-piston floating callipers at the rear in blue with the M designation and features large brake discs to ensure an outstanding braking performance.
