FULLY ELECTRIC M POWER.
The BMW i7 M70 xDrive is the most powerful BMW M model with a fully electric drive system. It is equipped with an electric motor at both the front and rear axle generating a maximum system output of 485 kW (660 hp)*. An M specific configuration enables the rear-axle motor, in particular, to achieve unprecedented levels of power density. The drive unit has a six-phase design with a dual inverter. This forms the basis for a very substantial increase in peak output that remains on tap up to high speeds, endowing the BMW i7 M70 xDrive with the power delivery characteristic of M models.
M PERFORMANCE PAKET.
A system torque of 1,015 Nm in Sport mode and as much as 1,100 Nm when M Launch Control or the M Sport Boost function is activated offers outstanding pulling power. Capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in an impressive 3.7 seconds, the BMW i7 M70 xDrive is also the fastest purely electrically powered BMW M automobile. Top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.
1,100 Nm of torque is developed by the powerful drivetrain of the BMW i7 M70 xDrive when M Sport Boost function or M Launch Control is activated.
TECHNICAL DETAILS.
Adaptive M dual-axle air suspension.
Standard specification for the new BMW i7 M70 xDrive includes M specific adaptive two-axle air suspension with electronically controlled dampers and automatic self-levelling. M-specific air springs with reduced volume and an adapted rolling contour increase the number of vibrations on the front and rear axles by six in each case and provide a noticeably direct connection to the vehicle body. M specific hydraulics are also used to optimise damper response.
Executive Drive Pro.
With the standard M specific Executive Drive Pro, you can enjoy even more comfortable and sporty driving. The chassis control system actively compensates for road unevenness. It also minimises the forces acting on you when cornering. You will experience an outstanding driving experience in every situation.
M Sport brakes.
The blue M Sport brake has four-piston fixed callipers at the front and single-piston floating callipers at the rear with M designation comes as a standard. Its large brake discs ensure an outstanding braking performance. Brake callipers painted in high-gloss black are available as part of the optional M Performance package.
Integral Active Steering.
The Integral Active Steering improves steering behaviour at different speeds. It enables greater manoeuvrability and agility by turning the rear wheels opposite the front wheels such as when parking. Beginning at around 60 to 80 km/h, the rear wheels turn parallel to the front wheels and increase driving stability and comfort.

With My Modes, settings for driving dynamics and the interior shape a coherent overall experience. Whether sporty, efficient or balanced, in the vehicle interior the displays and light as well as other elements adapt to the mood for the respective mode.
